British Muslim Trust

Working towards a country where everyone, including British Muslims, live free from hatred and thrive as equal members of society.

Our Vision: Ending Hatred, Amplifying Hope

The British Muslim Trust envisions a UK in which British Muslims are seen as and live as equal members of society, free from racism, hatred and prejudice. We believe in a Britain where everyone — regardless of background, ethnicity, faith, gender or sexual orientation — enjoys the same rights, freedoms and chances to thrive.

Our Mission: Tackling Anti-Muslim Hatred and Islamophobia and Amplifying Hope

Islamophobia and anti-Muslim hatred are rooted in systemic socioeconomic inequalities. These intersect to produce some of the worst outcomes in health, education, employment and poverty for British Muslims. Yet this picture is incomplete. The British Muslim experience is also full of hope, success, joy and positive change. We are here to challenge prejudices and uplift a more hopeful, empowering narrative.
